Boom Town Creamery
identity
nvsble was asked to create a logo/identity for Boom Town Creamery in Oklahoma City. The artisan ice cream shop's name was inspired by the book Boom Town, written by New York Times Magazine's award-winning journalist Sam Anderson. From land runs to oil booms, from supersonic jets to an NBA franchise, Boom Town documents the boom-bust pattern that has defined a city from the day it erupted out of the vast, endless prairie.
In addition to the logo, nvsble has begun to develop a visual language for the brand. As Boom Town continues to push the envelope of flavor combinations most would never imagine, we strive to ensure that all the visual elements embody a sense of structured chaos.
Boom Town Creamery's flagship storefront sits along 23rd Street in Oklahoma City, which is also a part of historic Route 66. It was important that this unique brand felt as if it's always existed as a part the wildly unconventional evolution of the city.
packaging
The visual language of Boom Town's identity has manifested in many mediums such as stickers, gift cards, pint-of-the-month certificates, and of course its packaging. From single-scoop cups to pints, we aim to implement the fun and chaotic nature of the brand into every touch point for the customer.
